Phone providers / Nextiva
Route missed Nextiva calls to an AI receptionist that books jobs and captures caller details for your team.

Nextiva is a cloud business VoIP provider founded in 2008 and based in Scottsdale, Arizona. The product is positioned as a customer-experience platform: voice, SMS, video, and a built-in CRM in a single app. Conditional call forwarding lives in the user-level Voice Settings under Forwarding, with separate toggles for unanswered, busy, and unreachable conditions.
Critical: disable Answer Confirmation
Nextiva's Answer Confirmation feature (under Users → Voice Settings → Mobility) prompts the receiving party to press a key before connecting the call. CallSaver can't press a key, so leave Answer Confirmation OFF or every forwarded call will fail.
1. Sign in to Nextiva
Go to https://www.nextiva.com/login and log in with admin credentials.
2. Open Forwarding settings
In Nextiva, go to Users → Actions → Voice Settings → Forwarding.
3. Enable conditional forwarding
Select Call Forward When Unanswered, When Busy, and When Unreachable.
4. Set the destination
Enter your CallSaver forwarding number for each condition.
5. Save
Click Save.
Nextiva covers the full call-handling stack, but the moment a call goes to voicemail, you're back to the same old problem: most callers hang up rather than leave a message. The phone tree, the IVR, the polished greeting; none of them book a job for you if the human on the other end gives up.
CallSaver picks up under any of the three Nextiva forwarding conditions: busy, no-answer, or unreachable. It answers in your business name, asks the caller what they need, and writes a structured callback request to your dashboard.
The three-condition coverage is what makes this clean on Nextiva. Whatever scenario causes a missed call (line in use, you're driving, no signal) CallSaver catches it, and your team's normal inbound calls never touch the AI.

FAQ
No. CallSaver becomes the forwarding destination for unanswered, busy, and unreachable conditions. Your Nextiva number, users, and account stay where they are.
CallSaver is $49/month for early adopters and $199/month at standard pricing. Nextiva doesn't charge extra for using built-in conditional forwarding.
Nextiva's Answer Confirmation prompts the receiving party to press a digit before the call connects. That's a feature meant to confirm a human is on the line. CallSaver doesn't press digits; it just answers. If Answer Confirmation is on, the forward will fail every time.
Yes. The forwarding only triggers under the Unanswered, Busy, or Unreachable conditions. Calls your team picks up never reach CallSaver.
Under five minutes. Enable the three forwarding conditions, paste in the CallSaver number, disable Answer Confirmation, and save.
Yes. Disable any or all of the three Call Forward conditions under Users → Voice Settings → Forwarding any time.
Either. Nextiva's forwarding settings are user-scoped, so you can pick which users (the owner, the sales line, the dispatch line) hand off to CallSaver and leave the rest of the team alone.
